Beedie Capital Welcomes Matt Cross as Managing Director

Beedie Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Cross as Managing Director, further expanding the firm’s leadership and investment capabilities across its multi-strategy platform.

Matt brings over 20 years of experience across private equity, strategy consulting, and operational leadership. He joins Beedie Capital from Kensington Capital Partners, where he served as Managing Director, leading the Vancouver office and managing over C$350 million in direct investments and fund commitments.

Previously, Matt was Vice President at Parallel49 Equity, where he played a key role in managing over C$900 million of committed capital across two funds. Earlier in his career, he held strategic and operational roles with Teekay Corporation in Canada and Norway, and began his career in strategy consulting with Deloitte in San Francisco.

Matt’s investment experience spans diversified buyouts, growth equity, and venture capital, with sector expertise across business services, industrials, technology, and consumer industries. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an HBA with Distinction from Ivey Business School, and a BA from Queen’s University.
