Beedie Capital Welcomes Buster Shier & Iqbal Grewal

Beedie Capital is excited to welcome Buster Shier and Iqbal Grewal as the latest additions to our Investment Team in Vancouver. They both bring valuable experience to their respective roles and will be focused on the evaluation and execution of new investments as well as the monitoring of portfolio company investments.

Buster Shier Bio:

Prior to joining Beedie Capital, Buster was an Associate at CPS Capital, a Toronto-based private equity fund, where he was involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity investments in lower mid-market companies across North America. Prior to CPS Capital, he was an Investment Banking Associate at BMO Capital Markets in Toronto.

Buster earned his MBA from Rotman School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.

Iqbal Grewal Bio:

Prior to joining Beedie Capital, Iqbal was involved in various transactions across the Canadian financial services industry as an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.
